I have been sharing free downloads and tutorials for coming up to 15 years now. During that time the landscape of the Internet has completely changed. My blog was already in its prime when Instagram and Pinterest were born, and TikTok was merely the sound a clock made! In the good ol’ days I used to see tens-of-thousands of visitors per day that poured in from sites such as StumbleUpon and Digg, but sadly traffic levels have slowly declined back to
2008 levels, back when Spoon Graphics was in its infancy. I’m now seeing fewer daily visitors numbers than on Christmas Day of years gone by. For a website that has relied on a constant flow of traffic to monetize free content with supplementary ads, that’s not good news.

Thankfully I diversified over the years. Spoon Graphics Access All Areas memberships were launched in 2009 and has always been a regular income stream.
